Infancy to adulthood is a time of rapid growth and development. Knowing the difference between what an abnormality is and just a normal part of growing can be difficult. Our pediatric dermatologists understand how bodies work at these ages, and can help you understand what your child is experiencing. You will likely notice new blemishes, discolorations, moles, and freckles on your child as they grow. Some of these can be alarming when you first see them, especially if they are very noticeable. Skin changes are very normal during childhood, but you can always consult with a knowledgeable pediatric dermatologist if you feel there is cause for concern. Our facility is kid-friendly and our dermatologists are experienced in working with both children and adolescents. We can help put your mind at ease.
