Eosinophilic Esophagitis Clinic

The Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders (EGID) clinic at Children’s Hospital New Orleans provides a multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation and management of children and adolescents with eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, including eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), eosinophilic gastritis, eosinophilic enteritis, and eosinophilic colitis. The multidisciplinary team, including providers from the Allergy and Immunology, Gastroenterology, Dietary, Nursing, and Pathology departments, works in partnership with the family to create an individualized therapy plan to allow each child to feel as happy and healthy as possible.

Children’s Hospital New Orleans offers endoscopic procedures, allergy testing, on-site pediatric laboratory, and child-centric radiology suites. Our team has expertise in evidence-based and emerging treatments for EGIDs, including medication therapy, dietary elimination, and biologic medications.
