LaTasha M. Lewis, MD
Dr. Lewis chose to practice pediatric cardiac critical care medicine because it gives her the opportunity to care for and provide support to critically ill neonatal, pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease pre and/or post cardiac surgery and pediatric patients with acquired cardiovascular disease. Dr. Lewis finds it rewarding to be apart of the multidisciplinary team that works together to constantly improve care and outcomes with evidence-based medicine, quality improvement measures, research and collaborations with families, other providers/subspecialties and organizations.
A little something extra about Dr. Lewis
Dr. Lewis loves crime-fighting and investigation television. Her favorite TV shows are Law and Order: SVU and Criminal Minds. She says if she had not become a doctor, she would have loved to have been an undercover FBI agent or detective.
