LaQuatre R. Rhodes, DO
Dr. LaQuatre Rhodes is a Pediatric Gastroenterology, Liver, and Nutrition Specialist at Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her Pediatric Residency training at LSUHSC-Shreveport and Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at LSU Health New Orleans and Children’s Hospital New Orleans. When asked why she chose to specialize in this field, Dr. Rhodes explained, “The GI system has vast pathology and unique structure-function relationships that are intriguing. Therefore, I have the opportunity to care for patients with a multitude of conditions. Each patient encounter is challenging and rewarding and there's not a day I regret going into this field.” She has interests in nutrition, Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD), nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and obesity.
