The immune system is our main line of defense against infections and even cancer. However, it may also behave abnormally and cause diseases such as allergies, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Helping to balance the function of the immune system is a medical challenge that has always been interesting to me, but more importantly, it can provide great relief and benefit to our patients.” Dr. Ochoa is fluent in both English and Spanish.
