About Dr. Tieh

Dr. Peter Tieh specializes in Pediatric Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida, and completed his residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas. Dr. Tieh then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Harbor University of California Los Angeles in Torrance, California. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at LSU Health New Orleans. With more than seven years of experience in medicine, Dr. Tieh is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. When asked why he chose to practice Pediatric Endocrinology, Dr. Tieh said, “It gives me joy to help educate and provide families with advice and tools they need to live healthier lives. Endocrine disorders are usually lifelong and this helps me build long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families. This truly is a very rewarding field and it is something I truly love to do.”

Dr. Tieh is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Dr. Tieh sees patients at the main campus of Children’s Hospital in Uptown New Orleans and at Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center of Baton Rouge.
