Schedule your child's COVID-19 vaccine

Children 5 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine or extra dose.

The Pfizer low-dose COVID-19 vaccine has received Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA for children ages 5 to 11. This is an extraordinary moment in our fight against COVID-19 and will provide important protection for the 28 million children across the US in this age range!

Children ages 12-17 are now recommended to receive a booster shot 5 months after completion of their initial Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination series. At this time, only the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is authorized for 12-17-year-olds. Moderately or severely immunocompromised children ages 5-11 are also now eligible to receive an additional primary (or third) dose of vaccine 28 days after completing their second initial series vaccination. At this time, only the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is authorized for 5–11- year-olds.
