The Leaman Family Fund was established in 1992 through a generous gift
from a local family. This fund is used to provide for the needs of families
who have children receiving care at Children's Hospital. It has been used
to provide everything from meals for parents of hospitalized children
and a therapeutic tricycle for a physical therapy patient, to payment
of utility bills and space heaters for a cystic fibrosis patient living
in an unheated trailer. No gifts to this fund are applied to patient charges.
