NEW ORLEANS - Lolie C. Yu, MD, division chief of the pediatric hematology-oncology program and director of the human stem cell transplant program at LSU Health Sciences Center and Children’s Hospital, was awarded the 2010 Spirit Award, presented at the 10th Annual American Cancer Society Hope Gala. Dr. Yu’s article "Outcomes of pediatric bone marrow transplantation for leukemia and myelodysplasia using matched sibling, mismatched related or matched unrelated donors” appeared in the July 2010 issue of Blood.
