The Parenting Center maintains lending libraries of parenting books and videos at both the Metairie and Children’s Hospital locations.
Members may check them out according to the following guidelines:
- Check-out Limits:
- Two books and two videos.
- Check-out Procedure:
- All materials must be checked out and returned at the front desk. Parents are considered responsible for the materials until they are checked in.
- Check-out Duration:
- Two weeks for books and one week for videos/DVDs.
- Lost and Overdue Materials:
- A replacement fee will be charged for all lost or destroyed books, videotapes, and DVDs. Borrowers will be sent reminder notices and anything past due 30 days or more will be assessed the replacement fee.
