*Items purchased at the Lactation Center or fees for consultations may be covered by private insurance. Claims for personal reimbursement may filed by the customer with their insurance carrier. Insurance claim forms are available upon request.

Breastfeeding Support Group
The Parenting Center offers a support group for breastfeeding mothers. The group is designed for mothers to share their concerns and questions about nursing their child in a positive and comfortable environment.
The group is facilitated by an experienced international board certified lactation consultant/registered nurse for mothers and their breastfeeding babies. It is held in The Parenting Center weekly on Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to noon and is FREE and open to the public.
Breastfeeding & Working Class (Expectant mothers and mothers with nursing babies) Returning to work doesn’t mean you have to give up breastfeeding. This is a monthly program designed for women who are planning to work and continue providing their milk for their babies. A certified lactation consultant will offer practical suggestions and ways to succeed. One Wednesday per month, 10 – 11:30 a.m., FREE and open to the public. Please call to register.
Hospital Lactation Support Services
Children’s Hospital provides breastfeeding support for mothers with hospitalized infants. A private pumping room with breast pumps is available around the clock. Each unit has a breast pump for mothers of hospitalized infants. A lactation consultant is available for consultations anywhere within the hospital at a mother’s or doctor’s request or may be contacted by phone for any breastfeeding questions or information.
