The Department of Psychology also runs the Children’s Hospital Rapid Treatment Program.This outpatient program is dedicated to providing an expedited response for patients referred by pediatricians on the medical staff at Children's Hospital for children with ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and non-CNS based sleep disorders. The program utilizes a brief intervention model, which incorporates both behavioral interventions and psychoactive medications, when required.
